The architects combined Gothic and modern styles in the design of the building. Black brick on the frontage of the building (symbolizing coal) was selected to give an idea of solidity and to give the building a solid mass. Other parts of the facade were covered in gold bricks (symbolizing fire), and the entry was decorated with marble and black mirrors.

I made 20 weeks yesterday, which is supposedly the pregnancy halfway mark. It’s starting to feel and look real!
NYC is experiencing a spring heat wave so I dug out this old Zara shift dress and let the color-blocking do the talking. No sweat.
I’m trying to shop my closet for as long as possible before having to buy maternity gear. These are some of my first attempts at maternity style. The bump is under there, growing steadily. (Clearly, I have a go-to pose.) I’m only half way through my pregnancy so we’ll see how this goes.
